A WEB-SURFER'S GUIDE TO BACTERIA ASSOCIATED WITH INFECTIONS IN HUMANS

Aureobacterium

With the exception of A. resistens, Aureobacterium spp. have been reclassified as members of the genus Microbacterium. The name A. resistens (which is vancomycin-resistent) was validly after other Aureobacterium spp. were reclassified as Microbacterium spp.

Aureobacterium isolates have been misidentified as "Corynebacterium aquaticum"
